Seahaven Responders are hosting 2 more CPR and AED workshops on Wednesday 23rd August, both to be held at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Newhaven. The times are 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. If you would like to attend, please email jade@seahavenresponders.org to register your interest

On the evening of 26th July, we held a free CPR and defibrillator workshop for the residents of Seahaven at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven. Although only a small number turned up, they engaged really well and were able to learn lifesaving skills. More sessions are to be scheduled for the future so please keep checking our social media pages for more information.

All emergency services attended an estimated 50,000 ton cliff fall at Seaford Head yesterday. Luckily no persons were thought to have been involved. However, even after the fall, members of the public were still walking up to the edges and taking photos. Please remain safe, especially when the cliff face is already unstable.

Whilst celebrating the Queen’s official birthday on 17th June, we were presented with a new Lifepak CR2 defibrillator for our team by the Seahaven Branch of the Royal Society of St George. This magnificent donation will allow us to equip a new responder within our team and allow us to attend more cardiac arrests within our community

Seahaven Responders recently received an incredibly generous donation of £1,114 from Seaford Swimming Club, which will go towards a new defibrillator for our team, therefore releasing a defibrillator to be used within the community as a public access site
